Charlotte(15months) had a great session and seemed to enjoy all the activities. The team made us both feel very welcome. Happy to help again in any other studies.

Amelia and I had a great time with Alex today whilst we participated in the memory study. Alex was great with Amelia and the length of time for the participation parts was just right for a 15 month old. Amelia loved getting her little gift and certificate too!

I visited today with my baby and toddler. Alex made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. She was great with the girls too.

My daughter really loved going to the university and seeing where big people go to school. We were welcomed and made to feel very relaxed. The games were interesting and she loved her toy and certificate. We would be happy to do anything like this in the future.

My 2 children aged 3 & 5 enjoyed taking part in the study today! They like meeting new people and exploring new places/resources so this suited them very well! Thank you :-)

Eliza really enjoyed being a scientist. She was excited by the puppet game and from her gasps of "what the egg!" I think she enjoyed the video activity too. Even tho it had nothing to do with eggs! The toy at the end topped of a very enjoyable experience for us both.

Charlie didn't really enjoy the tasks he was given to do. I think the very clinical and sterile environment put him off to start. I was annoyed as he was asked questions about Peppa Pig and we don't allow that character in our home any more as she is an appalling role model for children,bad behaviour and poor consequences. We'd be reluctant to take part again.

My nearly 2 year old daughter, Violet, absolutely loved being a part of the study. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone we spoke to was friendly and polite. There was a lot of care taken to ensure Violet was comfortable and happy throughout the study. We wouldn't hesitate to contribute again, or to recommend other people contribute.

I received an email saying my son was selected to take part and that we'd receive an email telling me where to take him 24 hours before the appointment. We received no email, I therefore had no idea where to take him and so we were unable to attend. I was really interested in taking part so hopefully someone will see this and get in touch with me to rearrange

My little girl seemed to enjoy this study and behaved throughout the tests. Though im not sure if she co-operated fully with their expectations as she preferred to hug the puppet instead of repeat what Katie did and got distracted during the screen exercise because her legs were stuck under the table. but we hope her contribution has helped and would be happy to help again in the future if asked. She enjoyed playing with the toys in the playroom and loves the gift she picked at the end :)

We had a lovely experience. Nicolas felt confortable all through the activities . He enjoy doing the task and loved his little treat at the end. All very well organised.

Took my little boy to IoN to take part in some research, he would not cooperate at all, he seemed happy enough until he was strapped into a car seat then wouldn't play along at all. Emily was lovely and didn't pressure him and even still gave him a present and a certificate so apologies for not being more help but had he played along it would have been a nice experience!!!

Been to the University today for my Grandson Joe to take part in the study, simple easy process from start to finish Joe enjoyed it and staff were lovely.

My daughter Emily and I enjoyed our visit to IoN today to take in the memory research study. We were welcomed at reception and shown straight through to the play room. Emily was unsure about one part of the exercise but we were offered another way to do it which was great. We love Emily's certificate! We wish you well in your research.

We had a lovely time exploring the university, my son was happy to participate. I did explain we are going to play with toys and he would get a gift at the end. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but it was relaxed and easy to follow. It might have been easier if the target sticker was stick on without his knowledge, as he kept trying to remove it. An easy booking process too.

Easy to apply online and handy having online calendar to book time slot that fitted into my schedule best. My little boy seemed to enjoy exploring the university building and the tests themselves were straightforward, after he participated in them he asked for more. Lovely choice of small gifts for participation too. Katy was friendly and engaged him well.

Theo and I both enjoyed todays study,the girls were good and accommodating of my double buggy and additional baby in attendance. It was made fun for Theo and I felt comfortable encouraging him through the tests.However, I would ask that the girls explain that it is OK to encourage your child's involvement beforehand as I wasn't sure if I could have affected things. I'm glad we have taken part and would help with future studies if they become available ☺

The whole process from volunteering my children to doing the actually study was so quick and straightforward. The research was interesting to watch and the team were fantastic with the girls.

My son was seen by Aimee. He was very relaxed and happy during the time we were there. Everything was explained clearly, in a way he could understand. He was delighted to get a choice of toy at the end

The whole process, from seeing the advertisement asking for participants to taking part in the study couldn't have been simpler. The online booking system made it really easy to pick a convenient time. All the information about the study was emailed to me aling with directions and contact details. Aimee and Alex were both lovely with the boys. Unfortunately my youngest changed his mind when signing the consent form. He still received a present for almost taking part. My eldest really enjoyed his experience, and especially loves his certificate!

Friendly staff, my son felt really comfortable and had great fun. He is very proud of his certificate and can't wait to get involved again.

Had a great experience at the university today and Laila loved her time helping the research project. We've talked about this and what it means and she is happy to also help in the future should she be needed. She especially liked thinking and talking about her past memories and drawing pictures of them. She loved her gift at the end too and certificate for being a Junior Neuroscientist! Thank you Lyndsay
